We are going back to Italy again from 5th to 8th of June 2017 for the 2nd International School on Modeling and Simulation in Food and Bio Processes MSFS2017. It will be held in Seiano, Italy.

– May 10-12, 2017

Drs. Dagbjorn Skipness and Torstein Skara from Nofima (Stavenger, Norway) was in Ankara to visit our lab – facilities and to discuss over the possible future collaborations. This visit was due to my graduate student Ozan Altin`s valuable 10 months (from July 2016 to April 2017) in Nofima and our recent project SUNNIVA (under SUSFOOD call).

I was in Stavenger, Norway for the final project meeting  of the SUNNIVA (Sustainable food production through quality optimized raw material production and processing technologies for premium quality vegetable products and generated by-products)project meeting, hosted at the NOFIMA facilities.

I was in Lisbon, Portugal where the 2nd Working Group meeting (March 23rd) and first Action Workshop (March 24th) were carried out at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia.

I was in Naples, Italy to visit my colleague Prof. Fabrizio Sarghini (Universita Degli Studi di Napoli Federico II). This visit is the outcome of his competitive proposal to invite me for a working period in the framework of “International Visiting Professor Program” where the proposal was classified in 7th position out of 32.
